This must be the best restaurant to ever be physically attached to a Best Western hotel. No....it's not Best Western's restaurant so all you snooty folks don't need to get your underoos in a bunch.....you can still tell your buddies that you spent $250 - $300 on dinner for 2. But regardless of geography ASA is fantastic with respect to service and food. Their outdoor patio is an awesome place to dine on those 75 degree days....and it's puppy friendly!

Food was excellent, fresh, nice combinations, drinks were amazing too and we had a visit from the owner to our table to check in on us, everything was excellent and we will be back, love sitting in the patio!

Love coming here. It's a great date night, family dinner, special occasion, etc. place. The steaks are always delicious, but you really can't pick wrong here. Great food always, same goes for the service.

Absolutely love this place for a nice night out or special occasion! Their menu rotates seasonally, but there's always a couple of classics that stay on the menu. One of my go-to orders is always their pork chop which comes out perfectly cooked and so juicy and tender every time. Service is amazing and super attentive, the only downfall is that it can take up to 40min - 1hr to get your main courses out. It is a smaller restaurant with not a ton of seating but it definitely contributes to a more intimate vibe.

We've been to the ASA location in Los Gatos and it was our first time at the Los Gatos location for my birthday dinner. For drinks, I ordered the kiwi krush cocktail. I honestly unfortunately wasn't a fan of it. You could barely taste any kiwi and it was very watered down. We ordered the ASA salad to share as an appetizer which we all enjoyed. It's a simple salad but It was refreshing and I loved the caraway seed vinaigrette on it. For our entrees, the three of us ordered the mushroom pasta because we fell in love with it when we tried it in Los Altos. Absolutely amazing and one of my favorite pasta dishes I've had!! The mushroom sauce is incredible - such great flavor. For dessert, we ordered the Italian vanilla cake and the banana bread pudding. The Italian vanilla cake was below average to me, it kinda tasted like powdered cake mix you can buy from the store. The banana pudding on the other hand was so so good. I love anything banana and it was wonderful - highly recommend this dessert!! The service was pretty good, I was expecting a little more from a nicer restaurant. It took quite some time for both our drinks and our food to come up although it wasn't very busy. We didn't see too much of our server throughout our visit either but he was nice! Horacio/Horatio was very friendly and came by to chat with us! Interesting location and the parking lot is shared with the Best Western and some other businesses. The inside is pretty small so it felt a little cramped but it was beautiful inside! This is a great place to have a nice dinner and celebrate a special occasion.

Excellent food, service and ambience at ASA. Our server was really good and explained all the specials and even suggested a Smokey cocktail I wanted. The food was excellent and fish I ordered was really fresh as well. The desserts were delicious and overall a great dinning experience. While their location in Los Altos is really nice. This sister restaurant is quaint.

Loved our dining experience here! The waitresses were very friendly and helped steer us towards the most recommended drinks and dishes towards our taste preferences. I loved my guava tequila drink that had the perfect amount of spice, with subtle hints of jalapeño. We started with the stacked beet salad and it was a hit. The citrusy apple really complimented well with the beets. The truffle fries and ketchup were also delicious and a great start to get us excited about the other dishes. The ketchup being homemade made a huge difference in the taste. The garlic shrimp was heavenly. We had to get a baguette to soak up every last bit of the sauce. ;) The mushroom pasta had equally delicious flavor and sauce that we also dipped the bread in. The beef was so soft and tender. I'm not usually a fan of this dish, but the sauce was above par at ASA. The ham coquettes were something special. These were just as good as the ones I had in Spain last year; a real treat! Compliments to the chef to pull them off. And last, but not least we finished the celebratory dinner with the banana bread pudding! Well worth the 20 minute wait! It was perfectly caramelized and was a huge portion for the 3 of us to split. They even brought out ice cream as a complimentary birthday treat. Thank you ASA for a wonderful meal!
